Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park – Wildlife & Mt. Kilimanjaro Views

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Drive towards Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations. En route, admire the changing landscapes, from the bustling cityscape to the vast savannah plains.

Upon arrival at Amboseli, check in at your budget campsite and enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, with some of Africa’s biggest tuskers roaming freely. Other wildlife includes lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and numerous bird species. If the skies are clear, you will have a spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.
