Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. You’ll be warmly welcomed by our safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Optional visit to the Botanical Gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through southwestern Uganda. Pass rural villages, terraced hills, and lush greenery on your way to Bwindi.

  • Drive time: ~8-9 hours with lunch stop en route

  • Overnight: Gorilla Mist Camp / Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (or similar)

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Venture into the forest with trackers to find a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat.
